Expressing Gratitude After a Family Reunion
A family reunion involves extensive planning and effort, so recognizing those who made it happen with thank-you notes is a meaningful gesture.

Activities, food and a comfortable setting are important for a family reunion.
Organizing a family reunion takes considerable coordination, effort, and communication. One way to acknowledge the work of relatives who hosted the most recent gathering is by sending them thank-you notes.
To the Host or Organizer
Compose a heartfelt note to the family members who served as hosts. Personalize the message by writing, "Thank you for opening up and sharing your home with the family this year. We appreciate everything that was done to make us feel welcome."
Recognizing Family Displays
Acknowledge any special displays that a relative put together. Consider phrasing such as, "Thank you for providing the photos, memorabilia or the video for the family reunion. We realize the amount of work that you must have put into this wonderful project and we can't thank you enough for doing this for the entire family."
Thanking for Memorabilia
Make sure to express gratitude to the family member who coordinated family photos or made a keepsake for attendees. You might write, "Thank you for the family photo, T-shirt or item that will be a treasured reminder of the great time we had at the family reunion. It is so thoughtful of you."
