General information, use at your own risk

Guides on this site are for general information. Homes, tools, materials and vehicles differ, so read the manufacturer's instructions, follow local building and safety codes, and use appropriate protective equipment. Work involving electricity, gas, structural changes, heights or vehicle safety systems can cause serious injury or damage: if you are unsure, hire a qualified professional.
