Crafting a Baby Bib Floral Arrangement for a Shower
At baby showers, how a gift is presented can make a lasting impression. A simple set of bibs, when rolled and arranged with floral supplies, becomes a decorative bouquet that stands out.

Bibs serve a practical purpose for any expecting mother, but at baby showers—where every present is unwrapped, passed around, and admired—the way it looks matters. By turning plain bibs into a flower-like display, you can create a gift that draws attention throughout the event. A modest budget and some additional effort are all it takes to craft something memorable.

Make your gift the talk of the shower by transforming bibs into a beautiful bouquet.
Phase 1: Rolling and Taping
First Step
Take each bib and fold it in half along its length. Starting from the snap, roll it up as tightly as you can.
Second Step
Set one or two silk leaves or smaller blooms alongside the rolled bib. Use floral tape to bind the bib and the stems of the leaves together, winding the tape in a spiral over the lower half and leaving roughly 2 inches of the bib visible at the top.
Third Step
Keep going with bibs of varying sizes, shapes, and colors until you have 10 to 12 rolls.
Phase 2: Adding Stems
First Step
Push a 12-inch piece of floral wire into the bottom of each rolled bib.
Second Step
Place one or two larger silk leaves beside the wire and fasten them with floral tape.
Third Step
Use more floral tape to hold the leaves and wire against the rolled bib. Make sure at least 6 inches of bare wire sticks out beyond the end of each bib.
Phase 3: Assembling the Bouquet
First Step
Collect all the bibs by their protruding wires and bring them together into a single large bunch.
Second Step
Starting at the taped ends, wind floral tape around the entire group of wires, spiraling continuously until most of the wire is hidden and the bunch holds together firmly. If you like, tuck in extra greenery or silk flowers.
Third Step
Set the bouquet into a tissue-lined clay pot, a baby-themed bucket, or a vase filled with sand or rocks. Alternatively, wrap the whole arrangement in clear wrapping paper to mimic a real floral bouquet.
Safety Note
Floral wires have sharp ends and need wire cutters to trim. Handle them carefully.
