Birthday Gift Suggestions for Your Pastor's Wife
When your pastor's wife has a birthday, you can choose a present that fits the occasion and shows your appreciation. Options include a gift from one person or a collective gift from the church congregation, a women's ministry, or Sunday school children.

A gift for a pastor's wife does not have to be expensive to be meaningful.
If the birthday of your pastor's wife is approaching, consider giving a gift that is suitable and will be valued. You can present a gift from a single person or a group gift—whether from the whole congregation, a women's group within the church, or the Sunday school children.
Surprise Birthday Celebration
Organizing a surprise birthday party is an excellent way to demonstrate how much you value the friendship and contributions of your pastor's wife to the church. You can assign specific responsibilities to church members, such as preparing the birthday meal, baking and decorating a cake, and decorating the venue. Arrange for special entertainment, like the children's choir singing "Happy Birthday." Ask everyone in the congregation to sign an oversized birthday card. Such cards are available at many retail stores.
Handcrafted Presents
A handmade item may be just right for your pastor's wife. Consider creating personalized Christmas tree ornaments, a patchwork quilt with birthday messages on each square, or a set of decorative throw pillows featuring religious designs. A deeply touching gift is a video in which church members share why she is special, perhaps telling stories of times she assisted them, with each story concluding with birthday wishes. You can use free software like MovieMaker to edit the video.
Donation to a Cause
If your pastor's wife devotes much of her time to aiding those in need, a donation to one of her preferred charities can be a very meaningful gift. You may give in her name or anonymously, depending on her views on charitable giving. Provide her with a certificate indicating the donation was made in her name. Alternatively, you could establish a scholarship for young people in your congregation who wish to attend college but lack the means without assistance.
