Playing games with chocolate is a fun way to entertain.
Chocolate can be the centerpiece of playful group activities, combining a tasty treat with interactive fun. These games are appropriate for both children and adults. As you plan, think about what your guests would enjoy and how many people will be playing. If you're hosting a party centered on chocolate, having a mix of games ready will keep everyone entertained.
Identify the Chocolate Bar
Take several varieties of chocolate bars out of their wrappers and arrange them on a serving platter. A blindfolded participant then bites into one of the bars and tries to name which kind it is. Another option is to let guests touch the surface of an unwrapped bar and guess its type without seeing it.
Chocolate Relay with Dress-Up
Ask guests to form a circle. In the center, set a plate holding an unwrapped chocolate bar along with a knife and fork. Next to the plate, place a hat, a scarf, and a pair of gloves. One guest starts by rolling a pair of dice. Whenever someone rolls a double, that person moves to the center, puts on the hat, scarf, and gloves, and then uses the knife and fork to eat some chocolate. Meanwhile, the other guests keep rolling the dice. As soon as another player rolls a double, they take the place of the person in the center. This continues until the entire chocolate bar has been eaten.
Chocolate Treasure Hunt
Give each participant a plate and cover it with a generous amount of whipped cream. Small, unwrapped chocolates are then buried within the whipped cream. With their hands kept behind their backs, players use only their mouths to locate the hidden chocolates. The first person to find the chocolates is the winner.
Guess the Number of Chocolates
Take a glass jar and fill it with many small, unwrapped chocolates. While filling the jar, keep a count and record the total number. Players then try to guess how many chocolates are inside. Whoever comes closest to the actual number gets to keep the jar of chocolate.
