Organza is a lightweight, see-through fabric that works well for a variety of craft projects. By printing on organza with a home printer, you can make transparent fabric images that can be placed over a background to achieve layered, artistic results. While pre-made printable organza sheets are available from retailers that sell specialty paper, you can easily create your own printable organza at home. The materials needed to make organza paper typically cost less than buying the ready-made version.

Printing an image onto organza fabric can create an artistic result.
Step 1
Place the organza fabric on the floor. Flatten any wrinkles, then cut a piece that is a bit bigger than the label you plan to use.
Step 2
Put the organza, right side facing up, on your cutting mat. Align the fabric with the measuring lines on the mat. Check that the fabric is not stretched in any direction and that all corners are evenly aligned.
Step 3
Cut a strip of masking tape that is slightly longer than one edge of the organza. Place the tape over the edge of the fabric. The tape should cover just enough of the organza to hold it against the cutting mat, with most of the tape sticking to the mat. Do this for the remaining three edges as well.
Step 4
Remove the backing from the label. Position the label in the center of the taped-down organza, and press its sticky side onto the fabric. Apply firm pressure to ensure the label sticks evenly to the fabric.
Step 5
Take off the masking tape from the organza. Lift the fabric off the cutting mat, then turn the organza face up and press down to eliminate any air pockets.
Step 6
Load the organza paper into your printer. Ensure the image you want to print is a little smaller than the organza sheet. Print the image just as you would with regular paper.
