Step 1
First, decide which red carpet motif your party will follow, then purchase matching centerpiece props. If the Oscars are your inspiration, look for gold trophy statues at party supply or discount stores to serve as the centerpiece's focal point. Other options include a centerpiece combining a film roll and clapboard, a clapboard balloon weight, a movie camera balloon weight, or a trophy star centerpiece with a red or gold reel. For a Grammy Awards theme, music-note decorations such as photo frames or balloons can be the main table feature.
