Flight schedules can be checked through two sites.

You can verify a full flight itinerary on the internet without having to contact the airline or the booking agency. This lets you confirm whether your flight is confirmed and, if e-tickets were issued, obtain the e-ticket number. The two primary systems that airlines use for reservations are Sabre and Amadeus. Each operates its own website that contains all or most of the details a domestic traveler would require.

Step 1

Obtain your GDS reservation code at the time of booking. Typically, this code differs from the airline confirmation number, but a booking agency is likely to provide it. It consists of six characters, which can be letters, numbers, or a combination of both.

Step 2

Identify which system the code belongs to by examining its first character. If the reservation code begins with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, X, Y, or Z, it is from the Amadeus system. Codes that start with any other character belong to the Sabre system.

Step 3

If you have an Amadeus code, navigate to checkmytrip.com. Input the GDS reservation code along with the passenger's last name.

Step 4

If you have a Sabre code, go to virtuallythere.com. Enter the GDS reservation code and the passenger's last name.
