Securing Marriott's Business Travel Discounts: A Guide
Companies often seek to reduce travel expenses, and Marriott properties frequently provide special reduced rates for corporate guests. These are available alongside other discounts such as those for AAA members, seniors, military personnel, and government workers. How you access these rates depends on your role and travel frequency.

Company leaders often negotiate a specific rate for all employee rooms.
Business travelers often have their expenses covered by their employer, yet that doesn't stop companies from trying to secure the most favorable rate available for their stays. Marriott, like many hotel chains, generally offers some form of discounted corporate rate, in addition to reductions for AAA members, seniors, military and government employees.
Corporate Snoozing
If you hold a managerial or leadership position and your team members are frequently on the road, consider enrolling in one of Marriott's corporate programs. You can reach out to the corporate-programs office via email, or if your company is already a regular guest at a specific hotel, contact that hotel's manager directly to ask about the process. Enrollment steps can differ from one property to another, but typically an application must be completed. Once approved, you'll receive a discount code that your employees can use when reserving rooms online. For those who travel less often, another option is to apply for a corporate credit card that earns Marriott reward points. If your travel is limited to a single visit to a particular hotel, a phone call to that hotel to ask about the corporate rate is the way to go. And if you're an employee rather than a manager, you can request the discount code from your manager, human-resources representative, or travel coordinator. When you go online to book, simply input that code into the "Corporate/Promotional" field on the reservation page.
